April is already looking super busy & super exciting for BB! So with that in mind I thought I’d start writing a monthly blog to keep you all in the loop!

Training and Staff Progression
Sooo next up, we had a really fab team meeting at the end of March where we discussed the direction of each therapist individually and us, as a whole team and how we can further enhance our skills with regular training.
E-File Training
Tash & myself are excited to be embarking on E-File training in May with Willow Academy. This will enable us to fine tune our acrylic, Plexigel & cuticle work to ensure our prep work is second to none! Homa & Lauren will then be next to go on this excellent course.
Massage Training
Rosy is going to be going on a Deep Tissue Massage course in the next month or so to offer a different, deeper massage service within BB aimed at those really tight muscles that need that extra oomph, which I’m sure will be a big hit!
On that note, have you tried Rosy’s massages??? OMG you sooo should!! They are out of this world and trust me, I’ve had a lot of massages over the years. In Fact I have one booked in with Rosy for tomorrow! You should deffo book in and try them!
Nails & Lash Extension Training
Lauren is thrilled to be heading into the world of Acrylic Nail Enhancements, her course is due to take place in June and she will be looking for models to perfect her new skills at discounted rates so watch this space!! Lauren has really excelled at nails recently and I’m really proud of her determination to perfect her skills, meaning she is ready for her next level of learning as a nail tech.
Morgan & Sez are eager to go on a Lash Extension course which I am looking into finding the perfect one for them to attend.

Thought that was enough exciting news?!! Well I’ve saved the best ’till last!!!
You might have already seen on social media that we are now an approved Nimue Salon!
This is MASSIVE news for us! And on a personal note its an even bigger achievement, yes I might have welled up a little when I took order of the stock! I have nurtured BB for nearly 14 years now and have always struggled to find the right brand for our facials. The struggle was real… until I found Nimue and it all just fell into place and I can honestly say it instantly felt right!

Here after this we (myself, Tash, Lauren & Rosy) will be able to offer advanced Nimue facials within the salon. (The lovely Kaeso products will be staying for the more holistic facials with Morgan & Sez July 2022)
When can you get hold of it?
Well, the Nimue retail stock is out in the salon already, so we can start showing you & telling you more when you’re in. We can start recommending you the right skin care by the end of this month once we have completed our product knowledge training.

Oh and before I go… You’ll also see a few different faces around the salon this month as we have several work experience girls from Eastleigh College with us. I’m sure you join me in wishing them lots of luck with their workplace placement and I hope they love BB as much as we all do!
