Your pre-wedding beauty and body prep isn’t something you can do last minute – it takes planning!

Ensure you look and feel your absolute best on your wedding day, from head to toe with our 8 top beauty recommendations.

Some of our suggestions should start up to 1 year in advance, while other final appointments should take place within the final run up. Either way, we can help you prepare for your special day.

1: Give your brows a break

We’ve all been guilty of over-plucking, but now is the time to truly put the tweezers down and give your brows a break. Why? Because when you over-pluck, you lose all of your natural arch shape, which can change your facial expression altogether. Start thinking about visiting us 6 to 12 months in advance to to whip those brows into shape before the big day. Book in for brow treatments

If you would like a semi-permanent option to give the impression of fuller and thicker eyebrows without the need for make-up on the wedding day. Book in for microblading

When: 6-12 months before

2. Skin on the run-up

Flawless skin is a top priority for many brides. With all eyes on you on your wedding day, it will never feel more important to give your face some extra attention before the big event. Whether you’re prone to breakouts, rosacea or dryness, there is a facial out there to suit you and your skin type. Book in for a facial and speak to our beauty therapists about your concerns and allow them to tailor-make a facial treatment to target your problem areas, ensuring picture perfect skin.

When: Start regular facial treatments 6-12 months in advance with a final facial 1 week before the wedding to let redness subside.

3. Hands & Toes

Book in for a manicure and pedicure, and then keep it up regularly (every 2 weeks for fingers, every four weeks for toes) to whip your nails into the best shape they have ever been. Our nail technicians are extremely skilled at perfecting your talons and creating a beautiful shape and design to compliment your style for your special day.

When: from 3 months before the wedding.

4. Body beautiful

Looking after the skin on your body is as much a priority as facial skin. Regular exfoliating, dry body brushing and moisturising will ensure that, come your wedding day, your skin is absolutely glowing. From a full body scrub to a holistic back cleanse, our beauty therapists are on hand to ensure you are body beautiful. Book an indulgent body treatment

When: 1-3 months before the wedding.

5. Lets Talk Lashes

Lash extensions albeit popular with some are not only costly but are also very time consuming. Above all, they can also damage natural lashes. On the other hand, fake lashes add a dramatic effect BUT can cause irritation and even get itchy, especially for brides with sensitive eyes. A great solution is to opt for a lash lift & tint that will help you get the full, curled eyelash look that you always desired on your wedding day. Book your lash lift with 2 weeks to go.

When: 1-2 weeks before the wedding.

6. De-fuzz and Tan up

It goes without saying that you should book in for a wax appointment a few days before your wedding, paying attention to the four key areas: legs, bikini line, underarms and brows.

When: Less than a week before the wedding.

If you think you might want a spray tan, it is a good idea to book in 2 months before to make sure you like the colour and the process. If you do, book another in for two days before the wedding.

When: 2-3 days before the wedding.

7. De-stress and get into the mindset

De-stress and relax with a full body massage that pays particular attention to your most tense areas, such as your upper back and shoulders. A full body massage is the perfect reward for all your wedding planning efforts and will ensure your muscles are loose and limber on the day.

When: When all the wedding planning is done and dusted and you want to fully unwind, perhaps the day before the wedding.

8. Beauty Sleep

Beauty sleep is actually a real thing. A 2010 study found that people who got over seven hours of sleep both reported and were observed to feel and look more healthy, attractive, and energetic. Wedding pictures last a lifetime, and you want to make the most of them. Try your best to get in as much snoozing on the days and weeks leading up to your wedding.
